Several areas to face overnight water disruptions over technical issue
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Several areas in the Virgin Islands (VI) are scheduled to face overnight water disruptions due to a technical issue at the local Seven Seas Desalination Plant.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Residents of Tortola are notified that the water supply will be shut off in the Road Town area from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM today, Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Issues with BVIEC generators blamed for recent power outages & load shedding
POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- General Manager at the BVI Electricity Corporation Dr Neil M. Smith has said one of the largest generators at the plant is being overhauled while another has been experiencing issues with its “governor” that has to be rectified by specialists from the manufacturers.
Water disruption from tonight for certain areas on Tortola
BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- The public is notified that water will be interrupted tonight, June 4, 2023, in the following areas from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM June 5, 2023.

DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Hon Kye M. Rymer (R5) has indicated that the source of the water leakage at Pasea, which disrupted service in the Road Town area, has been located and fixed.
Broken pipe main forces some businesses in RT to close early
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Some private businesses and Government departments were forced to close early yesterday, December 16, 2015 due to a water shortage brought on by a broken main pipe line on De Castro Street in the vicinity of Scotiabank.
