Governor dodges protest; meets with organising committee
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The United Kingdom appointed Governor, Augustus J. U. Jaspert will not be in the Territory on the day of the public demonstration, Thursday, May 24, 2018, where residents have come together to fight the Bill by the UK House of Commons to make beneficial owners public.
Patsy C. Lake is new VI Horse Owners’ Association President
SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- In an election on December 15, 2015 at Ellis Thomas Downs that saw a small turn out of horse owners and the absence of some members who were nominated and reelected, veteran horse owner, businesswomen, and local heroine, Mrs Patsy C. Lake, was elected President of the VI Horse Owners’ Association to serve for the 2016 term.
