Grant paid overdue rent, rental vehicle in cash day after robbery- court
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- One day after the robbery and the same day that Catherine Pickering, the 67-year-old woman who was fatally shot during a robbery on April 18, 2021, at her residence in Paraquita Bay, Tortola in the head and chest with an AK-47 assault rifle, died from her wounds, Shameek Grant, reportedly paid his landlord $1,950 cash after being behind on his rent.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Catherine Pickering, the 67-year-old woman who was fatally shot during a robbery on April 18, 2021, at her residence in Paraquita Bay, Tortola, was allegedly shot in the head and chest with an AK-47 assault rifle.
Akeem Hopkinson & Shameek Grant charged for murder of Catherine Pickering
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– Two men have been charged for the murder of Catherine Pickering, the woman who was fatally shot during a robbery at Paraquita Bay, Tortola, on April 18, 2021. A female has also been charged with aiding in the incident, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated late this evening, April 28, 2021.

Shameek Grant was also jointly tried with the duo.
