Mandatory vaccination for students & staff @ UVI
FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI— The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) has given notice to students, faculty and staff that they will institute mandatory vaccinations for all students and employees.
HLSCC alumna Latasiha A. Bennett gains Dean’s Award @ UVI
CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - Latasiha A. Bennett, an alumna of both the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) and H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) in the Virgin Islands (VI), has been awarded the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Dean’s Award for Clinical Practice Level 2, 3, as part of the school’s 2021 Academic Achievement Awards.
UVI launches first film festival
CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, USVI - The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Department of Communication, Art, Theatre and Music will host its inaugural weekend-long Caribbean Film and Artistic Cinematic Festival from Today Saturday, April 6, 2019, to Sunday, April 7 on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. The cultural festival will bring students and community together to celebrate some of the best in Caribbean film.
