In Parts 1 and 2, I waxed/rant about the hardy and industrious Salt Island people, the place, the proud, rich history, and heritage; basic, simple, and idyllic lifestyle; of my ancestral homeland's forgotten and neglected situation. In Part 3, I will offer some suggestions on the way forward.

Salt Island is my ancestral homeland. Navel strings buried on Salt Island, my paternal grandfather, mother, father, several siblings, and other close family members claim Salt Island as the land of their birth. Nonetheless, Salt Island and generations of Salt Islanders (Cay/Key people) were a forgotten island and people.
VG land distribution no election gimmick – Premier Smith
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Premier and Minister of Finance Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith is insisting that Government’s land distribution process is completely transparent and brushed off questions as to whether it is a political gimmick on the eve of elections in the territory.
Gov’t still pursuing Spooner’s Estate Home for Elderly – Dr Smith
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Government has signalled its commitment to completing the project for the elderly home to be located at Spooner’s Estate and also noted that land is still to be distributed to persons previously identified to receive land in the area.
