UPDATE: ER sickout protest continues with roughly 10 nurses, auxiliary staff
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Despite Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone (AL) stating he has not been informed officially of a sickout by medical staff of Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital’s Emergency Room (ER), the protest action has reportedly entered its fourth day, today, Monday, February 7, 2022.

North Sound residents peeved over limited operations of health clinic
NORTH SOUND, Virgin Gorda, VI – “This is overbearing and we cannot handle this any longer. North Sound is like a step child in Virgin Gorda. ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Town and County Planning Department (TCP) has reported that one of its major challenges for 2012 was that of inadequate human resources, which has affected the efficiency of the department. It has also cautioned that this issue should be dealt with urgently since unscrupulous developers may be tempted to take advantage of this situation.
