VISAR rescues two from rough sea waters
FORT RECOVERY, West End, Tortola - Two persons were this afternoon, December 28, 2018, rescued from the rough sea in the area of Fort Recovery on the Western End of Tortola, Virgin Islands (VI).

ROAD REEF, Tortola, VI: Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) commissioned its newest vessel, the $450k Spirit of Tortola which is seen as a major comeback one year after the 2017 disasters which also significantly impacted the rescue service.
Cargo barge sinks off Anegada
THE SETTLEMENT, Anegada, VI – Coordinator of the Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) John P. Aspinall has confirmed that cargo barge Isabelle 5 ran aground near the shore of Anegada today November 6, 2015. However, he said that everyone was safely rescued.
