DIGICEL pulls popular Caribbean plan as a result of regulator ruling

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Minister for Communications and Works, Hon. Mark Vanterpool has asked the new chairman on the telecommunications watchdog agency – Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) - to compile a new list of candidates for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position.
Hon. Vanterpool wants a Virgin Islander for TRC’s top spot
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – More than likely a Virgin Islander will be tipped to be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), said Minister for Communications and Works Hon. Mark Vanterpool at the swearing in ceremony for the new Cabinet at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall on November 9, 2011.
