T’Shonda Dore rushed to USA for spinal surgery
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - T’Shonda Dore, a high school student of the Virgin Islands, has left these shores for the United States of America (USA) to undergo corrective surgery to her spine, thanks to the many persons who donated financially and otherwise to help give her a chance at a comfortable and pain-free life.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - T’Shonda Dore suffers from scoliosis (curvature in the spine) which threatens to damage one of her lungs if surgery is not done soon. And while the child can only be treated with pain killers by the local Peebles Hospital it wouldn’t be enough for her to sit a full day in school.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Doctors at Peebles Hospital who examined 11 year-old T’Shonda Dore yesterday August 12, 2015 confirm that they can do nothing for her save prescribe painkillers to ease the pain from her spinal curvature.
