After 400 years, we still live in denial of our own denials and, because we refuse to think for ourselves, we are back to putting our trust in Colonial Masters… We reject Truths that challenge our intellectual laziness and would rather pretend to be so special that life owes us more than we owe ourselves… In this way, we ignore opportunities, misplace priorities and are misguided by emotions rather than led by reasoning.

We live and learn so, it would be nice if we could say or hear something just once and that would be enough – However, in Today’s World of conspiracies and propaganda; once never seems to be enough for although we claim to search for Truth, yet, when we find it, we still reject it… Subsequently, our Lives and World are ruled by many who regard lying as talent and find it as easy to lie as to breathe – In this, Trump is not alone.

When Blind leads Blind, We all depend on Miracles:
I am no more special than you - We are all dispensable and disposable but even as we come and go, all that really matters is whether or not we make things better or worse… None of us live in a vacuum so we are exposed to Bad as well as Good and Wrong as well as Right… Whatever we do or know, are interactions with or lessons learnt from one another and, making right decisions are not automatic.
Why prevent parents from earning an honest living?

Hard to believe that each new Government would get progressively worse and our Destiny & Fate would hinge on Money and Corruption… Today, we are bombarded by such a level of fear that we believe our survival depends on remaining silent, with our heads down and butts up, to avoid drawing attention… As a result, we choose to act retarded and give others the right to fool us, rule us, use us and abuse us.

Not All We See Is All There Is: As always, this Truth is for the Youth because the Elders appear not to care about Facts and Today’s Drain on Tomorrow’s Supplies come from Entitlements and Retirements… Governments still make deals to pay Monies we do not possess for Work not being done and Politicians have so confused Privileges with Rights that the Authority of Visitors vastly outpaces the Rights of Local BV-Islanders.

Expecting their Vaccines to save our Nation:
We would all like to pride ourselves in being our Brothers’ Keepers, but clearly Family Affairs are being replaced with a Dog-eat-Dog Mentality… Mother Nature is annoyed, Father Christmas is absent and the Auntie Bertha and Uncle Sam we have known, still promise much but deliver little… After 3 Centuries, we are still comfortable being fooled and too afraid to speak out against Traditional Injustices.

Accepting Reality in the New Year:
Best Wishes and Happy New Year! 2021 has arrived… Last year was a rough year for everyone except those steeped in Trumpism so, if this year’s sayings sound familiar and repetitious, it’s only because they are based on Reality and necessary for the Future of our Youth… It is unfortunate that, the past 4 years have seen us constantly brutalised into accepting the lies of Leaders over the evidence of Truth.

We ask what will Tomorrow bring only to find that no one has the answer and the best we can do, is prepare as best we can, knowing all we have in common is Time – Our Fears and Dreams may differ but your Second is my Second and your Decade is my Decade so, whether we are here or not, this year shall pass and whether we are there or not, the next year shall come.
