BVI Recreation Trust to take reigns of horse racing in VI
SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – Virgin Islands News Online has been informed by a few of its many sources that horse racing in the Virgin Islands will soon fall under the responsibility of the BVI Recreation Trust.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – What was already generating excitement among horse racing fans has suddenly fizzed out as the anticipated showdown between St. Croix’s champion horse Slevin and Tortola’s Good Prospecting will not materialise this Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Ellis Thomas Downs in Sea Cows Bay.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Horseowner Letty Hodge, who recently lost race horse Lake Texoma, is blaming the conditions of the track's surface for her horse’s demise and charged that if the facility cannot be run properly, it should be closed down.
Horse racing associations to iron out Triple Crown kinks!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - With the hope of avoiding another controversial Triple Crown such as what occurred in the first staging, the horse racing associations of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas and St. Croix are soon to meet to work out those “kinks”.
Final Leg of Triple Crown set for Sunday March 18
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - All eyes will be on St. Thomas this Sunday March 18, 2012 for the final leg of the first ever Virgin Islands’ Triple Crown. The first leg was ran on January 15, 2012 at the Virgin Islands’ (Tortola) famous Ellis Thomas Downs and was won by St. Croix’s Slevin and the second leg ran on St. Croix’s Randall ‘Doc’ James Racetrack on February 19, 2012 and was won by new comer Bud White of St. Thomas.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In another twist to the plot leading up to the 3rd and final leg of the Johnny Walker Black VI Triple Crown Challenge slated for March 18, 2012 at the Clinton E. Phipps Race Track in St. Thomas, USVI, Slevin has been scratched from the race.
