UPDATE: Alleged murder fugitive ‘Balla’ Charlery deported from VI to US!

From our sources close to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), we have learned that ‘Balla’ Charlery, who had appeared on Friday July 24, 2015 on the charges before Principal Magistrate Tamia N. Richards, has been sent home.
He appeared in court heavily shackled and for this reason he was protesting loudly.
During his appearance on July 24, 2015, he thanked the RVIPF for not killing him when they carried out their operation.
He was found armed with two firearms, a quantity of ammunition and just over $5,000 in cash while in a tent in Baughers Bay on Thursday July 23, 2015 at 5:00 AM.
In court on that occasion, Charlery had asked the Magistrate what was going to come of the charges and she told him that this is dependent on what arrangements are made for his return to the US to face charges of murder.
The Magistrate had told him that she would not allow him to plead as it may affect the process to get him back to the United States. “A decision will be made on your charges,” said Magistrate Richards to the defendant on that day.
He also had expressed a willingness to stay in Tortola which he said he liked. “So I could come back Tortola? I ain’t going nowhere. I like Tortola,” the young man had said.
Charlery of the USVI, was last week described by the US Marshals as “armed and dangerous”. Intelligence suggested that he had been laying low on Tortola, possibly being given sanctuary by local criminals.

‘Thanks for not killing me!’ – ‘Balla’ Charlery to RVIPF
- US fugitive slapped with illegal entry & gun & ammo charges; to be held in the territory pending arrangements for his return to the US to face murder charges
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - 19 year old J'wa Emone Charlery known as ‘Balla’ Charlery, who was brought before the Magistrate's Court Friday evening July 24, 2015 on charges of illegal entry and unlawful possession of explosives and firearms, thanked the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) for not killing him when they discovered him hiding in a tent armed with weapons and explosives.
Following his appearance before Magistrate Tamia N. Richards, he was taken into custody where he will remain pending arrangements by the United States law enforcement agencies. He was not required to plead to the charges.
The Police prosecutor said that upon receiving certain information from the United States Department of Justice and also from the United States Marshal Service with respect to the defendant, on Thursday July 23, 2015 at about 5:30 AM a team of police officers went to Baughers Bay in an isolated area in the bushes where they discovered a tent. The court heard that the officers surrounded the tent. Some of the officers then tactfully made an entrance to the tent where they met the defendant.
“He identified himself as Mr Charlery,” said the police prosecutor. “The guy you should not approach,” interjected Charlery from the dock. According to the Police prosecutor, Charlery said that he had the firearms for the sake of the protection of everyone involved.
“He was then restrained and secured. He said he had monies with him and a thorough search of the tent was made by officers when a Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol was found in the corner right hand side of the tent,” said the Police prosecutor.
Another firearm, a Glock 23 semi-automatic pistol was allegedly found in the top left hand corner of the tent in the presence of the defendant.
The articles were inspected and the Glock 17 pistol had a magazine that contained 17 live rounds of 9mm ammunition. The Glock 23 pistol was found with 6 .40 calibre ammunition, and extra extended magazine which had 25 live rounds of .40 ammunition.
Charlery was also said to be found with a sum of $5,010 in cash.
'I like Tortola'
In court, Charlery asked the Magistrate what was going to come of the charges and she told him that this is dependent on what arrangements are made for his return to the US to face charges of murder.
“I just want to thank the BVI Police for not killing me. If it was the US I would be dead,” he shouted out in court.
The Magistrate told him that she would not allow him to plead as it may affect the process to get him back to the United States. “A decision will be made on your charges,” said Magistrate Richards.
“So I could come back Tortola? I ain’t going nowhere. I like Tortola,” the young man said.
He will be kept in custody until October 15, 2015. However, she said that he could appear earlier if the papers come through for his return, whether by deportation or extradition.
Charlery of the USVI, was last week described by the US Marshals as “armed and dangerous”. Intelligence suggested that he had been laying low on Tortola, possibly being given sanctuary by local criminals.

This young man is a alleged cold blooded killer. He was on the most wanted list (just goggle his name), they will be coming to get him. I believe Virginia will seek the death penalty or life in prison with out parole, that's why he does not want to leave Tortola. Why did he not stay in St. Thomas? Its because he thinks it would be much harder for them to get him out of Tortola. He is an American, let them deal with him.
Our the Gul who break up her father an his best friend company yea she should b locked up her dum @$$
A lot of them need to be in prison with him. What about the people who been running him back and forth to STT? What about the Poisonous band who allowed him to jump up on their stage during their dances? What about those who allow him to ride shot gun with them in their speed boat? What about those who allow him to hand with them during horse race? What about those who allow him to ride their motorcycle during STT carnival? What about those down Coki point who allegedly saw a murder committed and said nothing? You all need to be locked up right along with him. You all disgust me!
Anything that happens in this BVI, is no secrecy, it's just a matter of time cause one day bucket must hit the bottom and it always have a spillage or the bottom buss for the empty ones. Its very sad what happened to the victim that was murdered and neither of us have no idea what transpired so I'm not gonna judge him as none of us was there and don't know his involvement in this heinous act. Regardless of the outcome, he and any others involved will have to face the music before the Father.
He seems cooperative and relieved that he's here and not in the USA for obvious reasons and I'm also 'happy' that he's alive so at least he is given the opportunity to give evidence or make a statement which will, as funny as it may sound, bring some closure to the young lady's family.
Maybe RVIP can interrogate him as God knows the opportunity may not be as such as we hear everyday how the U.S. handles or treat blacks - we are still trying to grasps Sandra Bland's situation. So with that being said we would at least have a statement in the event anything goes wrong whilst he's in the custody of the U.S.
I pray for comfort, peace and forgiveness for both families as it is a terrible lost of young lives for all.
