Man arrested for allegedly raping 11-year-old girl

CHRISTIANSTED, St Croix, USVI - USVI Police on Tuesday arrested and charged a 34-year-old man who allegedly raped a 11-year-old girl.

According to police spokesman Toby Derima, on October 27 at around 10:06 a.m., police arrested Miguel A. Llanos of Mon Bijou, and charged him with first-degree aggravated rape.

The man was also charged with domestic violence, first-degree unlawful sexual contact and child abuse. 

Llanos reportedly sexually assaulted the 11-year-old female on October 19, 2020.

In accordance with the territory's domestic violence laws, Llanos was not offered bail, according to police.

He was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.

    Sometimes I wait a long time to do this and it painful much less to this 11 year old, is like im feeling the child pain all now, she cant sit down, cant clean herself, cant walk, bottom belly hurting, cant urinate. Smh he sick and the clamp his testicles together. Poor child

    I wonder if this child was a family member living in the same house with him. Some mothers pick up all kinds of good for nothing men just to say that they have a man. That time that nastiness is there watching their girl child!! Ladies, please be careful who you let into your house around your children! I have never heard anyone die from the lack of sex. Some of you are jumping too fast and not investigating these good for nothing men because you are happy to have a man in your bed. My heart aches for this poor little girl; he has scarred her for life.

      Not the time or place to make assumptions on what the mother did or didn’t do. This is victim blaming and honestly isn’t what’s needed when a mother is more than likely trying pick herself up mentally and try to understand what to do next with her daughter in regards to healing and protecting her (which i’m sure she was already doing in her mind). Some men are just mentally sick and have various reasons for why they do these things. What we aren’t doing to do is blame the mother for another persons lack of decency. I have time today
