CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, USVI — United States Attorney Delia L. Smith announced that Chief Judge Robert A. Molloy sentenced Alfredo Bruce Smith, 53, of St Thomas, to 35 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release. Upon release from prison, Smith must register as a sex offender.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- A man who allegedly started sexually assaulting a minor family member when she was 11 years old was arrested on Thursday, June 16, 2022, and is facing several charges including rape, incest and child abuse.
Legislation coming to allow for monitoring & tracking of sex offenders
