VI travellers may experience disruptions due to FAA notice- BVIAA
TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- Travellers to and from the Virgin Islands (VI) are advised that there may be disruptions to their travel plans following a notice from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) restricting airspace in the Caribbean region.
Shutting down early for UberSoca Cruise was a ‘sound decision’- Premier Wheatley
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) has called the decision to shut down Tortola early on November 18, 2025, to accommodate the arrival of the Ubersoca Cruise, a “sound” one.

For the Virgin Islands, where reliance on federal transfers and tourism is especially high, even a short lapse in appropriations would ripple quickly across the economy.
