1.8 tonnes of cocaine with street value of $180M was seized on March 5- Gov Pruce
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Standing in front of the vessel, ‘Midnight’, that was seized in a joint operation involving US Customs and Border Patrol and the Royal Virgin Islands Police (RVIPF) in the East End area on March 5, 2024, Governor Daniel Pruce has disclosed that the 60 bales of cocaine seized was weighed at 1.8 tonnes with a street value of $180M.
$250M cocaine found in Balsam Ghut sent out of VI for destruction- Cop Matthews
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Commissioner of Police Mr Michael B. Matthews has confirmed to Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) that the 2,353 kilos of cocaine that was discovered in Balsam Ghut on Friday, November 6, 2020, has been shipped out of the territory for destruction.
