799 new businesses opened in 2020 & 2021 during pandemic– Premier
DUFF'S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Despite the adverse economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with a decline in employment during the 2020 and 2021 period due to the temporary or permanent closure of some businesses, some 548 and 251 new businesses opened in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
