ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Out of the $40 million special grant provided by the BVI Social Security Board (BVISSB) to address specified initiatives including the following COVID-19 related economic stimulus measures, a total of $15,241,839 was expended in the COVID-19 Economic Stimuli for Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Businesses, Farmers and Fishermen, Day Cares, Pre-schools, Private Schools, Churches and Religious Organisations.

It is with great interest and concern that I hereby provide my views on the proposed recovery and development plan (the “Plan”) for the [British] Virgin Islands (the “BVI”, the “Territory”) that I love and cherish. I have examined the situation of the Territory prior to the unprecedented weather conditions that occurred from August – September 2017 up to its current state. I have also looked at potentials for the future.
