BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, USA- Three [British] Virgin Islands (VI) athletes kept the territory’s flag flying high over the past weekend as they performed exceptionally well in their various disciplines. ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Djimon L. Gumbs surpassed the qualifying standards of 52.00m for Carifta Games with a discus throw of 52.73m to highlight the BVI Athletics Association (BVIAA) Dag Samuels Developmental meet series number two (2) over the weekend.
