VI’s Hodge secures 2nd in 60m Semi Finals @ 2024 VA Showcase

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia - The VA Showcase, a premier high school track and field event, witnessed remarkable performances, with Adaejah T. Hodge of the Virgin Islands setting the stage on fire with a stellar performance across categories.

Ms Hodge from Montverde Academy Track and Field, yesterday sprinted to an astounding victory in the girls’ invitational 300m, clocking a time of 36.97 seconds.

Hodge’s performance was a standout moment, showcasing her exceptional speed and athletic talent.

Then in the USATF Girls 60m semi-finals, high school athletes Mia Brahe-Pedersen, and VI’s Hodge further showcased their speed at the run today.

Mia Brahe-Pedersen led with a time of 7.28, to take the top spot in the preliminary while Hodge followed with 7.31 and Brianna Selby with 7.32.

All three athletes will take on the finals with the top two duo clocking much faster times than they recorded in yesterday’s heat.

    Not BVI Alone is just highlighting that Ms. Hodge is not pure bred BVI as we all know her dad is Vincy.
    They never said she represented St. Vincent. We know she represents BVI even though she is a US citizen. Congratulations Adaejah keep pushing yourself and excel.
