'Comprehensive' road works commence in Sea Cows Bay
SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- Motorists and residents of Sea Cows Bay will welcome the start of much needed road works in the community.
Area of road where Richard C.N. Branson ‘crashed’ now repaired
NORTH SOUND, Virgin Gorda, VI- Residents of Virgin Gorda and other users of the road, including Sir Richard C.N. Branson, would be pleased to learn that the Public Works Department (PWD) has started carrying out “resurfacing repairs” on the sister island.
Horsepath ‘dip’ to be corrected
HORSEPATH, Tortola, VI- Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Kye M. Rymer (R5) has stated that the Horsepath dip that has been a longstanding issue with motorists and residents is to be rectified.
Excavation work to begin on ‘accident hotspot’ Sophie Bay Road from Monday
SOPHIE BAY, Tortola, VI- Sophie Bay Road, which has been the scene of many accidents this year, will be reduced to a single-lane road from Monday, August 14 to Thursday, August 17, 2023, to facilitate repairs.

Bad roads ‘causing hell’ for drivers
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With most vehicles already banged up and barely limping along following the passage of Hurricane Irma on September 6, 2017, having to daily traverse main thoroughfares that are full of potholes and other damages can be quite challenging and stressful on motorists.
UPDATE: Sabbath Hill accident victim rushed to US hospital
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – “Thank God I didn’t take their words for granted, those doctors at Peebles Hospital oh my God.” Those were the words of the wife of Rayon D. Bethune; the Belle Vue resident who miraculously survived after his car fell over 25ft off the edge of the Sabbath Hill Road on Sunday January 6, 2013.
