First case of Coronavirus confirmed in USVI

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The US Virgin Islands (USVI) Department of Health late Friday, March 13, 2020, announced its first confirmed case of COVID-19 disease, the new coronavirus. The territory’s first case is a resident with some recent international travel history to one of the five locations with widespread transmission of the disease.

The brawls almost resembled riots, as throngs of students — both male and female at various locations of the school — engaged in dangerous physical battles, some of them in groups, as they rushed, kicked and punched each other.
Ex USVI police officer arrested for assaulting former lover

Daniel of Estate St John — a former [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) officer who currently works at the Department of Justice — charging him with simple assault and battery for assaulting a woman that he had an intimate relationship with.
Dog owner arrested after pit bulls mauled 84-year-old man

ST. CROIX, USVI - The owner of seven pit bull dogs—five of which viciously attacked an 84-year-old man in his own yard last year in Clifton Hill—was arrested on some four months following the incident that almost killed the victim, identified by family as Gladestone Alexander Simon, Sr.
