“I am not white!” says Ag Commissioner of Police
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Acting Commissioner of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Mr David Morris has sought to dispel claims regarding his ethnicity and remains adamant that he is not white! The question of race or ethnicity he said, was a complicated one for him, but he clearly identified himself as mixed race British or mixed race Welsh, despite claims in the media that may state otherwise.
Two police officers suspended pending outcome of court proceedings into allegations of assault

Second District residents want more police presence at beaches
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Certain residents of the Second District have called for more police presence at the beaches on the days when cruise ships are in to curb robberies on tourists and have also asked that police address the issue of speeding taxis especially in the school zones.
