All disturbances in Atlantic showing signs of development- DDM
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The National Hurricane Centre (NHC) is currently monitoring four disturbances in the Atlantic.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) says it is monitoring two areas of disturbed weather; a tropical wave midway between the Atlantic and the Lesser Antilles and the second just off the coast of Africa.
UPDATE: Tropical Storm Laura forms
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Tropical Depression 13, which formed in the central Atlantic late Wednesday evening, August 19, 2020, has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Laura, shattering the record for the earliest L-named storm on record in the Atlantic basin. It is expected to move near or north of the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
