Update - More than 200 job commitments for unemployed youths
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Some 200 job commitments have been given at various levels including 58 for apprentices with some youths already attending interviews and securing jobs.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – They have been “prepped” on good work ethics, communications skills, work place ethics, and now applicants under the Youth Unemployment Register (YUR) will have the opportunity to present themselves to potential employers at a Job and Career Fair on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Multi- Purpose Sports Complex.
260 registered in unemployment drive so far – Harrigan
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – At least 260 young men and women turned up at the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS) to register on the Youth Unemployment Register (YER) – an initiative undertaken by Government to assist young people in finding jobs.
