FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI— The [US] Virgin Islands Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a man accused of kidnapping someone. Though police did not clarify who the suspect had kidnapped, the case has been categorised as a domestic violence situation.

Man beats wife for sending nude photo to another man
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Julian Antoine, 48, was brought before the Magistrate’s Court on October 4, 2016 for allegedly beating his wife and destroying her cellular phone in the process. The beating was allegedly because she took a nude photograph of herself and shared it with another man.

Social Dev Dept will offer free housing in Domestic Violence cases
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - With the increase in cases of domestic violence most often men abusing women both physically and verbally, the Social Development Department told the House of Assembly’s Standing Finance Committee that it provides housing for victims, including their children free, of cost.
