June 3, 2022 designated VI public holiday for Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Cabinet in the Virgin Islands has designated June 3, 2022, as a public holiday to celebrate Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee to mark the 70th year of the Queen’s reign over the United Kingdom (UK) and British colonies.
Cabinet gives greenlight to issuing of 23 Certificates of Residence

Late birth & death registrations to now cost $75

VI Gov’t to pay $269K to St Lucia for accommodating VI prisoners
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has approved payments of $269,940 to be paid to the Government of St Lucia, for accommodating prisoners as a result of damages to the Her Majesty’s Prison by hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017.
