ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- According to information issued by the Puerto Rico Seismic Network, an earthquake measuring 3.73Mb occurred throughout Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands this morning at approximately 1:04 A.M. local time. The report indicated that the epicenter was located near 19.66 north latitude and 64.41 west longitude, or 103 Km North of Anegada at a depth of 42 kilometers. No Tsunami Warning or Watch was issued.

Thursday August 2012 - Preliminary Information according to the Puerto Rico Seismic Network an earthquake measuring a magnitude of 4.2Mb on the Richter scale was felt throughout the Virgin Islands at approximately 1.42pm this afternoon. The report indicated that the epicenter was located near 18.5N and 64.5 West or 10 miles NW of the Valley, Virgin Gorda or 8 miles NNE of East End, Long Look at a depth of at a depth of 23.6 miles.
