West End & VG ports dev. not on front burner – Claude O. Skelton-Cline
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Continuous calls have been made to the National Democratic Party (NDP) Government and the BVI Port Authority (BVIPA) to have the many challenges at ports across the Territory addressed yet there has been no redress and Managing Director of the BVIPA Mr Claude O. Skelton Cline said that two major Ports – the West End port on Tortola and Virgin Gorda – are not on the front burner.
Guyanese accused of failing to declare $13k
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Guyanese national Colin Sinclair, 51, was granted $60,000 bail signed with one surety when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Tamia Richards on September 27, 2013 to answer to the charge of failing to declare monies over the sum of $10,000 to Her Majesty’s Customs (HMC).
UPDATE: Family seeks closure in West End accident death
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Accident victim Bernardino Richardson, 51, of the Dominican Republic is expected to be laid to rest next Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Richardson died in a horrific smash-up on December 11, 2012 at West End.
Two arrests made in Anegada stabbing incident
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Two men have been charged in relation to a stabbing incident of a Dominican Republic national residing on Anegada.
