Government to enforce Insurance Obligations but what about the others?
For more than half a year we have argued that Government should ensure Insurance Companies meet their obligations to Clients and we are finally hearing of steps being taken in that direction… That would be good but it still leaves the Price Gouging and Unfair Practices that have been perpetrated by Landlords and Suppliers on Hurricane Victims or just about every VI Resident.
Always so sorry for everyone but who is sorry for us?

The Innocent should not suffer for the Guilty:
No one seems to care that our World is in turmoil, our Systems corrupted, our Leaders insensitive, our Children are less Progressive than their Parents, our Ambition fading and Hopes dying - We have become more isolated in a crowded World where Everyone asks How and Why even though the Answers are written on the Wall – Sometimes it feels impossible to decipher Right from Wrong.
Will Blacks over-come before Christ returns?

Prison should never be the Mantra of our History:
For Centuries Christians have been saying ‘Christ soon come’ and Descendants of Slaves have been saying ‘We shall overcome’… However, we are now in the last days of Black History Month 2017 and in desperation Persons are crying out for these fulfillments more and more only to find them less likely as reality dawns and Leaders still glorify Slavery in Dress, Songs and Customs.

Do you really believe a Slave Master would risk his life to save a Slave?
Some who call themselves Leaders encourage us to accept what is clearly wrong; preaching the doctrine of going along to get along when in fact this is the same tactic used by Slave Masters to convince Slave Mothers to convince their Children – especially Sons – to become Good Slaves… This love for Propaganda cultivates Ignorance, promotes Self-hate and simply prolongs our misery.

When I attended College of the Virgin Islands, now called the University of the Virgin Islands, I had a white Chemistry professor who not only taught me in the classroom but also patiently tutored and coached me in Chemistry during office hours.
Black people – ‘What the hell do you have to lose?’

What the Hell do you have to lose?
A serious question was asked of Slave Descendants by Mr Donald J. Trump, a potential President of the United States of America who also described Blacks as living in poverty with inferior Education, a lack of Jobs and likelihood of being shot in their own neighbourhoods… In response, too many of us became annoyed with Mr Trump rather than seeing whether and why these things he said were true.

Using ‘I told you so’ prevents re-invention of the Wheel:
It is no secret that we were born intellectually naked but in a misguided World no one likes hearing ‘I told you so’… Nonetheless, in the real World the greatest level of Intelligence is the ability to learn from others and our present Cloak of Knowledge is woven from many fabrics of “I told you so’s” – It is unwise to reinvent the wheel by being too proud or ashamed to learn from anyone.

When the Gift of Youth becomes the Product of Past Experiences:
Being young is wonderful – It’s a Promise of Forever where we can get everything, do everything, be everything and live everlasting but this is only as good as it gets for as long as it lasts – Time passes and most things change… We become caricatures of our Grandparents only to find we didn’t get everything, we didn’t do everything, we weren’t all we could be and we will not last forever.

Finding yourself:
Over the years I have taught and told you many things but whether you are Black, White, Green or Purple nothing matters unless and until you know yourself… You may swear that you do but evidence shows that you remain consumed by the Self-hatred instilled in you from infancy and we still base our worth and our values on imitating others while ignoring ourselves.
