17 persons ordered deported from VI in 2010
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In 2010 some seventeen (17) persons were ordered deported from the Virgin Islands (VI), according to the Immigration Department 2010 annual report. This report was laid on the table of the House of Assembly at the third sitting of the second session of the second House of Assembly of the Virgin Islands on October 9, 2012 by Minister for Immigration and Premier Dr. the Honourable D. Rodent infestation, revised legislation major concerns - Report
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Rodent infestation remained a growing concern for residents throughout the Territory according to the Environmental Health Division Annual Report of 2010. The Department’s report added that only limited action can be taken by the Division given the scarce resources that were available to it.

Report: staff motivation killed - Environmental Health Division
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- In a comparative analysis done between the 2010 and 2011 reports submitted by the Environmental Health Division, both stated that the percentage of work output of the said division is negatively affected by the supply of staff and funding.
