2 T&T men convicted of firearm offences ordered deported from VI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Two nationals of Trinidad and Tobago who were convicted of firearm-related offences have been ordered deported from the Virgin Islands by Governor Daniel Pruce.
The deportation order for Akiba K.M. Joseph and Ramone David was made by Governor Pruce on September 16, 2026, and gazetted on September 21, 2026.
It was in June 2023 that Joseph and David were charged with keeping an unlicensed firearm, and with two counts of possession of a prohibited firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Two other persons, Blugh Mongra, and Renia Fahie, were also charged, along with the two men, with keeping an unlicensed firearm.
