2 T&T men convicted of firearm offences ordered deported from VI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Two nationals of Trinidad and Tobago who were convicted of firearm-related offences have been ordered deported from the Virgin Islands by Governor Daniel Pruce.

The deportation order for Akiba K.M. Joseph and Ramone David was made by Governor Pruce on September 16, 2026, and gazetted on September 21, 2026. 

It was in June 2023 that Joseph and David were charged with keeping an unlicensed firearm, and with two counts of possession of a prohibited firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Two other persons, Blugh Mongra, and Renia Fahie, were also charged, along with the two men, with keeping an unlicensed firearm.

    Keep sending them out. The majority of them have commit crimes in their homeland and then run to Tortola to continue their badness because Tortola is easy for them to come to. Let them go back to their homeland and face their wraith. Bet they are going to miss Tortola. Please post the deportees pictures in the event they come back into the Country.

      Have you not seen the names of the people committing crimes in Tortola!!!!!!!

      Also seems those names are now popping up as a frequent part of crime in other peoples countries.

      Such an idiot response in VI is always send them back. Ha ha ha. They from here.

      We now exporting our home grown criminals.

      The worst part is THEY are sending them back.

      But there are always the racist, bigotted folk that claim that the VI are only ever innocents. Ha ha ha ha ha.

    DA had belongers and was deported. He grew up here, went to school, had businesses here and family roots here. That didn’t matter and he was sent back to Guyana to start over.

    Mongra should be deported as well due to the offense. Next.

      It was good that they sent his Wicked Ass from here.
      A lot more need to go, especially the ones that are here working without Work Permits, Overstaying and are not contributing to Taxes in the Country.

    Round them all up men and women and ship them out. The immigration need to do round ups in villages and places of employment. Bring ICE to the BVI for a big clean up.

      Why do we have so many persons in front of Virgin Queen building. These need an ICE check. They have the center of town looking so ghetto with all those old broken down chairs in the center of town. Where is the City Manager? If it was BVIslanders you all would have done have them gone. Do a check on these people and send home who are illegally residing.

    a person gets deported is simply you pay someone who deals with passport thay right on their record that passport either stolen or lost right there you get a new passport when he or she enters there's nothing to show that person have been deported so this have nothing to do with layer sister my friend just think about the world we are living in today
