2 foreign nationals sentenced in USVI for immigration-related offenses

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI— In two separate federal cases, a Dominican Republic man and a Brazilian woman were sentenced last week in St. Thomas for immigration-related offenses following investigations led by Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Marine Interdiction Agents (CBP-MIA).

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI — United States Attorney Delia L. Smith announced Friday, July 22, 2022, that Reynaldo Mejia-Mejia, 33, of the Dominican Republic, was sentenced by District Judge Wilma Lewis on his conviction of illegally reentering the United States.
