VI's Squash players medal @ OECS Championships

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The BVI Junior Squash team has come home from the 2015 OECS Junior Squash Championships played in St Vincent and the Grenadines with trophies and medals.

The tournament, which took place from April 10-11, 2015, saw 9 competitors represent the territory in the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 categories for both girls and boys.

According to coach Joe Kneipp, “All the kids played and competed well and showed great sportsmanship.”

Darci Reich is the OECS U-11 Champion/Best and Fairest and her brother, Luca Reich is the OECS U-13 Champion.

Kerstin Gordon won Runner Up in the Girls U-15 while Brianna Findlay took Runner Up in the Girls U-11.

Sam Childs won 3rd place in the Boys U-15.

Luca Reich, Kerstin Gordon and Leo Forte have been selected to compete in the Caribbean Championships in July in Barbados.
