Police investigating Hodges Creek burglary

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Police have confirmed a report of aggravated burglary on a yacht at Hodges Creek Marina earlier today, May 27, 2014.

Two masked males, one armed with a gun, reportedly climbed onboard the boat just after 1am and demanded money and cellular phones from the occupants. The two then fled the scene with electronic items and cash.

One of the assailants is described as 6’3 in height and slim built and the other 5’8 in height and stocky.

No one was injured during the incident.

The RVIPF is offering a monetary reward to any member of the public who has information which will lead to the identity of the individuals involved in this burglary. Persons with information are asked to contact detectives from the Major Crime Team directly at 468-5682 or through the RVIPF access number 311.

Crimestoppers in Miami also provides persons wishing to give information anonymously an opportunity to do so. Call 800-TIPS, 800-8477.

    This matter will get the full attention of the Royal Virgin Islands Police force; they did what!!! Climb onbroad a boat and mostly the whites reside on boats in this island(you cant do such things)..you will more than likely see stop & search operations throughout the territory following this incident
