Police Arrest Blotter

RVIPF blotter for the period November 4 to November 10, 2012
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The following is the arrest blotter from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force from November 4 to November 10, 2012.


On 05-11-2012 at 0518hrs, Police arrested and charged Walton Cameron, 61, of Branson Estate on a warrant in the first instance for Kidnapping, Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm and Indecent Assault.


On 05-11-2012 at 0945hrs, Police arrested and charged 21-year- old George Smith Jr, of The Valley Virgin Gorda with the offence of Taking conveyance. Smith Jr. was granted police bail in the sum of $10,000 signed with one surety for his appearance in court on 11-05-2012 at 1000hrs in The Valley, Virgin Gorda.


On 06-11-2012 at 0935hrs, Police arrested and charged Omar Marchand, 23, of Paraquita Bay for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.


On 07-11-2012 at 0915hrs, Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old male from Hannah's Estate for Burglary.  


On 07-11-2012 at 0900hrs, Police arrested and charged Domingo Richards, 30 of Purcell Estate for Handling Stolen Goods.


On 08-11-2012 at 0845hrs, Police arrested and charged Jerry Smith, 45, of Sea Cows Bay for criminal damage on a warrant in the first instance.


On 06-11-2012 at 1911hrs, Police arrested and charged Michael Jack, 24 of Belmont Park, West End for Murder.


On 09-11-2012 at 1215hrs, Police arrested and charged Garry Smith of East End for Common Assault. Smith was granted police bail in the sum of $10,000 with one surety for his appearance to the Magistrate’s Court on 12-12-2012


On 10-112012 at 0200hrs, Police arrested and charged Joseph Samuel Smith, 37, of Valley, Virgin Gorda for the offence of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.
