No Rise & Shine but revelers ‘wet fete’ instead!
Local bands and entertainers collaborated with the management of Aqua Sports Bar and Night Club in Duff’s Bottom, Tortola, and pulled off a 'Breakfast Wet Fete' event, which drew a sizable crowd this morning, August 3, 2020.
The promoters of the event had emphasised the wearing of mask and social distancing.
A visit to the event also required keeping a safe distance if one did not want to get wet, as a loaded water truck was not discriminating.
A number of officers of the Royal Virgin Islands police Force (RVIPF) were seen conducting constant checks.
The event is said to have been incident free.
