ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Government House took on the strong colour of red on Friday November 22, 2013 as persons turned up in numbers and mostly in red for the HIV/AIDS Foundation of the Virgin Islands' fundraising auction.

The event was hosted by the Governor's wife Mrs Jennie McCleary and Acting Governor V. Inez Archibald and saw persons winning some handsome raffle prizes and capitalising on some more awesome prizes at the auction.

Before the lively auction got underway, patrons were treated to modelling by a bevy of beauties that included Miss BVI Rosanna K. Chichester and Miss BVI World Miss Kertis K. Malone. Miss Malone also did a touching rendition of Maria Carey's 'Hero' at the start of the evening's proceeding.

The beautiful designs showcased were the creations of Ms Karen L. Samuel.

The HIV/AIDS Foundation of the Virgin Islands is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that serves to complement the work of the National Aids Programme.
