Hon. Vanterpool gets scorching rebuke from Taxi & Livery operators
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Anger and outrage were some of the emotions that filled the air as Minister for Communications and Works Hon. Mark H. Vanterpool received a scathing round of criticism from several taxi drivers last evening, October 17, 2013 at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park.
UPDATE: Under pressure Governor appoints Ishmael Scatliffe to PSC
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After almost four months of resistance and close to violation of the Virgin Islands Constitutional Order and under pressure from the Leader of the Opposition Ralph T. O’Neal OBE, the United Kingdom appointed Governor William B. McCleary has complied and appointed businessman and Virgin Islander Ishmael Scatliffe as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
UPDATE: Still no appointment of Ishmael Scatliffe to PSC by Gov McCleary
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- There seems to be a clash working up between the United Kingdom appointed Governor Boyd McCleary, and Leader of the Opposition Ralph T. O’Neal OBE over his recommendation of Ishmael Scatliffe to the Public Service Commission (PSC).
