New garbage incinerator earmarked for Tortola – Premier Fahie
DUFF'S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has announced that a new incinerator will be procured for the main island of Tortola, one that is more environmentally friendly than the current Pockwood Pond operation.

Sol helps sailors keep it green and clean at 31st Moorings Interline Regatta
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - For the second year running, Sol integrated an environmental element to its support of the annual Moorings Interline Regatta which took place in the BVI from October 11 – 16. Sol sponsored a Green Marine Award, challenging participants to ‘Drink Responsibly’ and to collect their empty glass bottles for recycling.
