VI Gov’t wins compensation claims over 2006 ‘Oil Spill’

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Government of the Virgin Islands (VI) was awarded the sum of $221,935.86 for clean-up costs, as a result of an oil spill that occurred in the VI waters in 2006.

Oil/Diesel spill from RT drain ends up @ sea next to Village Cay Marina & Hotel

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Residents, guests and workers from the local Village Cay Hotel, Marina and Restaurant had a hard time breathing yesterday February 4, 2018 around 9:00 A.M. when either oil or diesel ended up in the sea next to the marina from a drain next to the popular eatery and hotel.

Some 1000 gallons of fuel spilled at SCB

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – A Nite Oil Tanker truck containing thousands of gallons of fuel experienced a mishap when oil was being exchanged sometime around 3:30PM today, April 15, 2013 in Sea Cows Bay opposite the now closed Dominos Gas Station.
