UPDATE: Magistrate sends gun-toting Vanterpool to church
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Magistrate Dr Velon L. John told defendant Joel Vanterpool that while he may have some reason to celebrate in leaving the Magistrate’s Court a free man today, February 26, 2014, instead of going to a pub he should go to his church.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Senior Magistrate Tamia Richards denied bail to Joel Vanterpool, 26, when he, along with a married couple, appeared before the Magistrate’s court today, October 14, 2013 on charges of drug and gun possession following their arrests yesterday.
