It is a given from time immemorial that during our productive years we would not only care for ourselves but contribute to the welfare of the young and elderly, so it follows that in a month which is not only that of Mother’s Day but the month for Seniors and the Mentally Challenged, to select this as the month in which to abandon infants and seniors, smacks of insanity.
