50% increase in new HIV cases reported in VI- Levons-Clarke
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The National AIDS Programme is reporting that there has been a 50% increase in new cases of HIV reported in the Virgin Islands (VI) over the last year and that 30 percent were over the age of 60.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- There has been an increase in the number of persons, especially teenagers and men, getting tested for HIV in the Virgin Islands, according to National AIDS Programme Coordinator Mrs Noelene Levons-Clarke.

VI pays tribute to HIV/AIDS patients

15% VI’s HIV/AIDS cases are homosexuals
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI (Posted 7:10 am) – Seventy five percent of the people living with HIV/AIDS in the Virgin Islands (VI) are heterosexuals, while 15 percent are homosexuals and the remaining 10 percent, bi-sexuals.
Youth summit tour prelude to World AIDS day
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In observance of World AIDS Day 2011, the National AIDS Programme of the Ministry of Health and Social Development will be conducting a National Youth Summit Tour to all secondary and tertiary educational institutions in the Virgin Islands.
