Trevia Gumbs secures VI’s 1st medal @ Carifta 2015

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Trevia Gumbs, who missed the podium last year, won the (British) Virgin Island’s first medal at the 44th Carifta Games on Sunday morning, April 5, 2015 in the Kim Collins Athletic Stadium, while Jonel Lacey picked up bronze in the 400m Intermediate Hurdles during the afternoon session.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Nelda Huggins, running for her Top Notch club and back in competition following her suspension from National team duty, sped down the straight in a time of 11.90 to win by 0.27 seconds over Jonel Lacey at the first Development Meet of the year on Saturday January 14, 2012.
