11 Venezuelans nabbed with 55kg cocaine offshore St Croix

ST CROIX, USVI - United States (US) Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert announced today, October 7, 2019, that 11 men claiming to be Venezuelan nationals appeared before Magistrate Judge George W. Cannon for an initial appearance after arrests by Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agents on the charges of possession of a controlled substance on board a vessel subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - Coast Guard rescue crews ended their search for a MSC Seaside crew member at 8 P.M. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, approximately 8 nautical miles southeast of St Thomas, the Coast Guard said in a release issued Thursday afternoon.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI — The [US] Virgin Islands (VIPD) on Tuesday, November 15, 2017 announced that a body had been found in the St Thomas harbour near the Coast Guard dock, US Virgin Islands (USVI) and that the force was investigating the matter while seeking the community’s assistance, according to Glen Dratte, the VIPD’s public information officer.
