This month symbolises a proud moment, for me, witnessing the conviction of the people of our beloved Virgin Islands (VI). Not so much because I am for, or against, a march for our economic freedom, but because I see our people rising with conviction at a time that tests our strength as a nation.

‘I am opposed to having a demonstration’ – Doug Wheatley

In the House of Assembly most of the bills are to regulate the Financial Services sector. So we are well regulated and it’s kind of disappointing that the UK parliament will still pass the bill.”
