CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI — Tahira Charles, who was shot while on Tortola on July 31, 2016, will remain behind bars pending trial, US Virgin Islands (USVI) Superior Court Judge James Carroll III ruled Wednesday August 10, 2016, according to a press release the Superior Court issued Friday afternoon, August 12, 2016.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI — The [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a man named Tahira Charles, 32, who police say is wanted in connection with the first degree murder that occurred on June 25, 2016 in the vicinity of First Stop Gas Station on Rumer Road in Estate Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
