'Bomb threat' on VI & USVI may not be credible- VITEMA
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The (US) Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) believes the alleged plot to blow up the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, Virgin Islands as well as airports in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) may not be credible and its ports continue to operate at the normal level of security with no changes in scheduled flights into and out of the territory.
UPDATE: Security ‘strengthened’ across territory due to alleged ‘terror threat’
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Although not specifying in what way, the National Security Council (NSC) has announced that it has decided to “strengthen” security across the territory in light of the possible threat to security in the Virgin Islands.
