‘BVI Airways’ outstanding landing fees will be dealt with’ – Premier Smith
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – This news site had first and accurately reported on January 11, 2016 that BVI Airways, which Government was seeking to subsidise, had owed monies to the BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) prior to discontinuing its service at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport in 2014. And, according to Premier and Minister of Finance Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith, monies owed by BVI Airways for landing fees to the BVIAA will be dealt with and have not been written off.
